Before Odegard Carpets introduced and began producing hand knotted carpets in plain or simple designs in the late eighties, the minimal design high quality hand knotted carpet simply did not exist.  Odegard pioneered the use of vegetal dyes and the rich abrash they create in plain handmade carpets of luxury and distinction, and is still the vanguard of this style today.  The simple yet sophisticated Tundra design comes in all wool and wool with silk border variations.
